Communications Specialist; Content Creation
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Communications Specialist to create and manage employee-facing change communications for the SAP S/4
HANA rollout. The role involves supporting communications across five plants with consistent, localized messaging, explaining changes clearly, and translating technical updates into practical content. You will also draft and manage email communications, create SharePoint content, produce slide decks, and develop short videos to support internal communications efforts.

- Draft and manage employee email communications and cascades.
- Create and maintain SharePoint and intranet content.
- Produce slide decks for town halls and team sessions.
- Develop short explainer and reinforcement videos.
- Ensure all content aligns with internal tone, language, and culture.
- Partner with site champions to support plant-level communication needs.
- Support training, go-live, cutover, and post-go-live communications.
- Coordinate messaging timing with HR, change, and SAP project milestones.
- Track engagement metrics and adjust messaging as needed.
- Strong internal communications writing skills.
- Proficiency in content creation and design using tools like Canva, Clipchamp, and InDesign.
- Diploma or degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Ability to translate technical information into clear, employee-friendly language.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience working in or with HR teams.
- Exposure to change management communications or transformation projects.
- Experience supporting SAP, ERP, or large system implementations.
- Familiarity with Viva Engage or similar internal engagement platforms.
The role operates in a hybrid work model based in Toronto, requiring 1–2 days onsite per week. You will work closely with five site champions, the Change Management Lead, and HR leadership. The position entails 40 hours per week, with content reviewed and approved by the North America Comms Lead, while allowing creative freedom within internal guidelines.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.50/hr.
Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Toronto, ON.
