Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst for one of its clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations, including threat monitoring and incident response, to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure and sensitive information.
• Develop and enforce security policies while proactively monitoring internal and external threats, investigating insider risks, and responding effectively to identified security incidents.
• Lead investigations and resolution of security incidents, in relation to data breaches of confidential information (financial, labour relations, employee, etc.).
• Establish and deliver organization-wide cybersecurity training for internal employees and external stakeholders with access to company networks and on-site facilities.
• Work with internal stakeholders in assessing and managing security risk associated with the investment of new technologies, including but not limited to AI.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and report findings to the Manager, Cybersecurity with recommendations for remediation.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify potential risks in the organization’s infrastructure.
• Develop specialized protocols to ensure the security of all information pertaining to labour relations matters and prevent disclosures of such information to unauthorized parties internal and external to the organization.

Necessary Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in M365 and Cybersecurity.
• Experience in cybersecurity practices, including SAST, IAST, DAST, Sec Ops, Incident Management, ISO best practices, Cloud Security, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, with hands‑on experience in risk management and incident response.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM and encryption solutions, managed security services, vulnerability management and patch management.
• Ability to handle high pressure situations with key stakeholders internally and externally.
• Certifications in CISSP, CRISC, PMI-ACP, or AWS are preferred.

Salary range is expected to be between:
