Job DescriptionThe Junior Project Manager & Quality Assurance Specialist supports the delivery and quality of internal tools and systems used by the Accounting team. This role helps coordinate project activities, supports Agile workflows, and ensures solutions are thoroughly tested before release. The position offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, from early planning through deployment and ongoing improvement, in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Coordinate project tasks, timelines, and dependencies with Accounting partners, developers, and stakeholders using Agile delivery practices
- Execute manual quality assurance testing on internal tools and applications, documenting defects, edge cases, and improvement opportunities
- Support Agile ceremonies by tracking daily priorities, upcoming work, and progress across sprints
- Maintain clear project and QA documentation, including requirements, test results, and status updates, in shared tools
- Contribute to post-launch maintenance and iterative improvements to Accounting systems and workflows
Required:
- 3+ years of experience supporting digital projects, software initiatives, or internal tools, including coordination or delivery support
- Hands-on experience performing manual QA testing for web-based or internal applications, with documented test cases or defect tracking
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum workflows, including stand-ups, sprint planning, or retrospectives, in a team-based environment
- Experience organizing project documentation, requirements, or testing results in shared collaboration tools
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders when identifying issues and discussing solutions
Desired:
- Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done
- Formal Agile or Scrum training, coursework, or certification
- Interest in how technology and process improvements can enhance finance or accounting operations
Experience working in cross-functional teams supporting internal business users - Exposure to issue tracking or project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
This posting is for a newly created role at Klick.
The base salary range for this position is between CAD $75,000 - $80,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate's work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
