Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Report Developer to support the modernization and migration of operational reporting for a large public‑sector initiative. The role focuses on assessing, redesigning, and migrating approximately 270 legacy operational reports to the new CDT solution using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder.

• Support the planning, assessment, and migration of ~270 legacy operational reports to the new CDT reporting environment.
• Evaluate and modernize existing reports in collaboration with the Project Manager and business stakeholders.
• Determine appropriate migration paths to Power BI Desktop or Power BI Report Builder.

• Conduct reporting needs assessments to understand the logic, functionality, and business requirements of existing operational reports.
• Define migration approaches and collaborate with the project team to align operational reports to CDT standards or Power BI tools.
• Design, develop, and migrate reports to Power BI in accordance with OPS architecture, accessibility standards (AODA/WCAG 2.0 Level AA), and project requirements.

Must Have:

• Demonstrated working knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder (minimum 2 years).
• Demonstrated working knowledge of SQL query languages (T‑SQL, PL‑SQL) (minimum 4 years).
• Demonstrated working knowledge of DAX programming (minimum 2 years).

Nice to Have:

• Ability to analyze, design, build, and test databases based on business needs.
• Experience designing technical deployment strategies and functional test plans.
