The Sr Project Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing technical solutions that align client technology environments with Manawa’s standards, best practices, and business objectives.
This dual-role position bridges Project Design (solution architecture and proposal development) with Project Implementation (execution, deployment, and validation). The Sr Project Architect works closely with vCIOs, Project Manager, and clients to translate business requirements into actionable, technically sound solutions - ensuring outcomes that are reliable, efficient.
Key Responsibilities- Translate client business and technical requirements into well-defined solution designs and proposals.
- Develop detailed work plans including phased task lists, technical scopes, and deliverables to support successful project execution.
- Collaborate with the vCIO and internal stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions align with client goals and Manawa standards.
- Utilize Manawa’s centralized asset documentation and design templates to develop accurate configurations and pricing models.
- Apply standard margin and markup structures for product sourcing and procurement in line with company financial goals.
- Implement technology solutions at client sites and remotely, including network infrastructure, server systems, and end-user devices, cloud migrations and others as needed.
- Manage project tasks to completion within scope, schedule, and budget, following Manawa’s project management methodology.
- Coordinate with Project Managers for resource planning, schedule management, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure technical documentation, cutover plans, and validation procedures are completed for every project.
- Provide escalation support and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
- Participate in project handoff and kickoff meetings, providing solution insights and technical validation.
- Maintain transparent communication across departments to support alignment between Design Desk, Professional Services, and other teams.
- Attend and contribute to departmental and company meetings, team syncs, and client status meetings.
- Document project status, updates, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to Manawa’s Standards Committee, helping develop and maintain technical best practices.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify opportunities for process improvement or technical refinement.
- Maintain certifications and stay current on emerging technologies relevant to Manawa’s service stack.
- Engage in professional development to enhance both technical depth and business acumen.

Expertise in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams and MS Purview and other admin centres), Azure AD, Azure Infrastructure, networking (Switching, Firewall, WiFi IoT), virtualization, and endpoint management; able to adapt solutions to varied client environments.

Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - Certifications (Preferred):
CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent. - Experience:
3+ years in an MSP or IT solutions environment with demonstrated experience in both project implementation and solution design. - Soft Skills:
Strong communication, adaptability, ethical judgment, and client relationship management.
