Business Data Analyst

Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Business Data Analyst for a long term opportunity at Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position).

Our client is a Canadian multinational financial services company and the largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. The bank serves over 17 million clients and has more than 89,000 employees worldwide. Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.

• 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role in a data warehousing or enterprise data environment.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (Kimball/Dimensional modeling, 3NF, MDM, metadata, governance).
• Experience working with ETL/ELT platforms.
• Strong SQL skills for data profiling, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to write detailed requirements, functional specs, and test cases.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira/Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex data concepts for non-technical audiences.
