Required Skills

Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge

Acts as a thought partner for senior leaders across the group – within the context of strategic technology projects and on an ongoing basis

Recommends end-to-end technology design solutions and takes full accountability for the architecture of a solution

Lead a wide range of technology strategy initiatives such as Applications rationalization, Cloud Migration, Legacy modernization. Synthesize findings and present clear recommendations and roadmaps ensure impactful project outcomes to senior leaders within GBM

Ensures simplification of the technology application landscape there by achieving efficiency gains in terms cost, revenue and resources while ensuring uncompromised delivery of business value to clients.

Keeps the Bank safe by ensuring right technology, architecture, data, and infrastructure choices are made that prevents malicious attacks against the Bank’s technology infrastructure.

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk

Salary Range - CA $ 100,000 - CA $ 130,000 Per Year
