Iris’s client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Java With  Data Architect  for a long term contract opportunity.

Role Description

Work directly with the product teams to capture detailed requirements and develop end-to end detailed solution architecture specifications covering both functional and non-functional aspects of the product.

Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data & AI governance teams to ensure full alignment of solution architecture with enterprise data strategy, AI governance frameworks, security policies, compliance and architecture standards.

Partner with engineering teams to validate that the delivered solution is as per the prescribed architecture specification.

Present architecture artifacts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must-have skills

5 to 7 years of related experience in Solution Architecture, including 2-3 years as a Solutions Architect focused on large scale Data projects.

Proven experience in architecting hybrid cloud solutions that leverage both on-premises and cloud services for compute and storage, aligned with performance, compliance and scalability goals.

Solid experience collaborating with Engineering teams, Product and Program management, Data and AI governance groups.

Ability to influence across multiple squads and stakeholders

Nice-to-have

Data architecture , data lineage, and data modelling experience.
