About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking a highly experienced  Senior Applications Architect  to provide architectural leadership, solution design, expertise for large‑scale, multi‑platform initiatives within a public‑sector environment. This role supports multiple sub‑projects and requires deep expertise in cloud architecture (Azure preferred), containerized microservices (Tanzu), hybrid deployments, integration patterns, and enterprise‑level architecture.

Scope

Lead the overall architecture vision, roadmap, and technology strategy for MLITSD 360 and related initiatives.

Define, recommend, and implement application architecture for large, distributed, cross‑platform environments.

Architect cloud‑native and hybrid deployments using IaaS, PaaS, SaaS (Azure preferred).

Assignment Deliverables

Architecture reviews, assessments, and technical impact analyses.

Microservice architecture design, governance, and platform standards (Tanzu).

Cloud deployment models, security recommendations, and cost optimization strategies.

Technical guidance to project teams, including design walkthroughs.

Expertise Required
Must Have:

Extensive experience designing & implementing public cloud solutions using IaaS, PaaS, SaaS (Azure preferred).

Demonstrated leadership in microservice architecture and container platforms.

Ability to operate as an Architect within Agile delivery methodologies.

Experience with mid‑tier and mobile platforms.

Experience with operating systems:
Windows, Linux.

Experience with database technologies such as MS SQL, Azure SQL, Postgre

SQL.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with Angular Material or UI component libraries for solution prototyping.

Experience with API Management platforms, API gateway design, and secure API patterns.

Security Clearance
Required.
