We are seeking an AI Lead/ AI Solution Architect - Google Cloud to act as a technical lead across client‑facing AI engagements. In this role, you will own AI solution architecture and delivery from discovery through production. You will work closely with client stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable AI/ML and generative AI solutions built on Google Cloud Platform
, with a strong emphasis on Vertex AI and production‑grade MLOps.
This role blends hands‑on technical leadership, solution architecture, and consulting, while supporting pre‑sales initiatives and mentoring delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities Client Advisory & Solution Leadership (25%)- Serve as the AI technical lead on client engagements, owning solution architecture and delivery quality end‑to‑end.
- Partner with clients to understand business objectives and translate them into AI/ML solution designs.
- Advise clients on AI strategy, platform choices, and roadmap development within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
- Lead client‑facing workshops, design sessions, and architecture reviews with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Design and deploy end‑to‑end AI solutions on Google Cloud using Vertex AI, Big Query, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, and GKE
. - Define reference architectures and reusable patterns for AI, ML, and generative AI use cases.
- Guide teams on MLOps best practices
, including model training, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and governance. - Ensure AI solutions are production‑ready, scalable, cost‑efficient, and aligned with client security and compliance requirements.
- Provide hands‑on technical guidance and conduct code reviews across data science, ML engineering, and platform teams.
- Support development of ML models, data pipelines, and inference services.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and AI workloads.
- Balance hands‑on contribution with architectural oversight across multiple concurrent client projects.
- Support pre‑sales activities including solution design, effort estimation, and technical proposal development.
- Contribute to statements of work (SOWs), architecture diagrams, and technical sections of RFPs.
- Assist sales teams with client presentations, demos, and proof‑of‑concepts.
- Help build and evolve internal AI accelerators, templates, and delivery best practices.
- Mentor consultants, engineers, and data scientists across AI engagements.
- Promote engineering excellence, documentation standards, and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including data, cloud, security, and delivery leadership.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Vertex AI, Big Query, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, and GKE
. - Experience implementing MLOps pipelines and operating production AI systems.
- Proficiency in Python
. - Hands‑on experience with ML frameworks such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, or scikit‑learn
. - Experience building ML models, data pipelines, and inference services.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML roles.
- 3+ years in a technical lead, solution architect, or consulting role
. - Strong communication skills with comfort working directly with clients and executive stakeholders.
- Experience with generative AI and LLM‑based solutions on Google Cloud.
- Google Cloud certifications (Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect).
- Familiarity with enterprise data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Prior experience in a consulting firm, systems integrator, or cloud partner organization.
