What We Have

We currently have a v1 version of our AI insights platform for a few medical and medical adjacent use cases that uses a combination of our ML pipeline, LLM summarization models and RAG/Context engineering to extract key information on medical claims.

Role Summary

We're seeking an AI Insights Tech Lead to work directly with customers to understand capability gaps, architect a more powerful and scalable AI insights engine, and lead a small team of engineers within this product team.

What you'll be doing
  • Developing robust, scalable APIs in Python (Django and Fast API)
  • Collaborating with other technical stakeholders and leaders to actively work towards the design and implementation of systems.
  • Ensuring the reliability and scalability of our AI Insights platform
  • Building ML/AI adjacent systems with AI engineering tooling (RAG, AI workflows, Evals, etc)
  • Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as projects develop, adjust and mature.
You're a great candidate if you have
  • Experience working across multiple engineering teams to deliver projects
  • Strengths in two areas: backend engineering, data engineering, cloud engineering, frontend engineering
  • Ability to think through problems end to end, including data, infrastructure, research, monitoring and inference considerations
  • A track record of developing high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in an independent and team setting
  • Are enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, contributing to a team that aims to make a significant impact in the medical and insurance tech space.

Compensation

Our target base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $230,000 CAD.
