Location – Toronto, ON (3-4 days a week)
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer with strong Kubernetes expertise to design, build, and manage cloud-native infrastructure and systems on Google Cloud Platform.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on experience with GKE, containerization, IaC, and Dev Ops practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, preferably using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Work extensively with GCP services including:
- Compute Engine
- GKE
- Cloud Load Balancing
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Administer Linux environments with strong knowledge of networking and security fundamentals.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops tools to support deployment automation.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Go.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and GKE
- Expertise in core Google Cloud Platform services
- Proficiency in Docker
- Experience with Terraform / IaC
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud security
- CI/CD and Dev Ops tooling experience
- Scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or Go
