Senior Murex Test Engineer - MxTest

We are looking to add to our Murex MxTest Team in Canada to work on an exciting Murex project with one of our key clients!

You will leverage your knowledge of Murex and testing methods to support high‑quality deliverables in a dynamic environment. Apply now to be part of this opportunity to enhance your testing career.

• Design and execute automated test cases within the Murex environment
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using MxTest tools
• Analyze test results and report defects to ensure quality standards are met
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and testing requirements
• Apply test methodologies to validate various financial products and asset classes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing phases
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and automation frameworks
• Provide insights and recommendations for test strategy enhancements
• Support integration testing efforts across different interfaces and systems
• Document test plans, cases, and results in a clear and concise manner

• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Murex systems
• Proven expertise using MxTest for test automation in Murex environments
• Strong background in test methods and quality assurance procedures
• Experience with scripting and automation tools relevant to testing
• Knowledge of financial products including Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives
• Analytical skills to identify and resolve testing issues effectively
• Proficiency in English for clear communication with clients and team members

• Familiarity with Markitwire platform
• Skills in Unix operating system and shell scripting
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying
• Competency in managing system interfaces

This posting includes a base salary range EPAM Canada would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, training, the demand for the role, skillset, and overall business and local labour market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed.
