What We’re Looking For
Northern is seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Solutions Architect (Contractor) to lead discovery, scoping, and implementation of enterprise-level Salesforce Data Cloud projects. You'll drive technical strategy, design multi-org architectures, implement and deliver comprehensive solution plans for complex retail and enterprise clients.
You must have hands-on experience with multiple enterprise Data Cloud implementations from concept through deployment, including consent management frameworks, licensing optimization, and cross-org integration strategies.

Lead sessions with the client team and stakeholders to gather detailed business requirementsDesign end-to-end solution architectures including multi-org configurations, data models, and integration patternsCreate detailed architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation roadmapsDevelop comprehensive project scopes, effort estimates, and licensing recommendations for enterprise deploymentsArchitect data flows between Data Cloud and CRM, mapping custom objects, fields, and business processesDesign consent management solutions compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulationsDefine identity resolution strategies, customer profile schemas, and segmentation frameworks across multiple Salesforce orgsNavigate existing CRM customizations, flows, and object relationships to integrate Data Cloud seamlesslyGuide data governance policies, quality standards, and compliance requirementsOversee implementation of data flows, integrations, and customer profile optimizationStay current on Data Cloud platform updates and translate new features into client valueWhat You’ll Bring
+ years Salesforce platform experience with + enterprise Data Cloud implementations delivered end-to-endStrong Salesforce CRM experience including custom objects, flows, process automation, and data model designProven experience with multi-org Salesforce architectures and CRM integrationsDeep knowledge of Data Cloud features, updates, and roadmap (formerly Genie/CDP)Expertise in consent management implementation (GDPR, CCPA, privacy frameworks)Strong background in solution design, technical scoping, and effort estimationExperience creating architectural diagrams and technical documentation for stakeholder audiencesKnowledge of Data Cloud licensing models and optimization strategiesSalesforce Data Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud certifications requiredExperience with identity resolution, data modeling, and enterprise integration patternsExcellent communication skills for client-facing discovery and requirements sessionsExperience with Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) would be considered an assetCompensation & Tools
