In this role you will:
Approximately 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development within the banking or financial services domainProven experience in system migration and application integration projectsStrong technical background in Linux, Web Sphere, and Oracle environmentsAbility to troubleshoot complex issues with network, firewall, optimize performance, and work collaboratively within cross-functional teamsManage and coordinate incident resolution and problem management, ensuring root cause analysis and long-term fixes are implementedSupport application health checks and day-to-day operationsAssist in change management, deployment planning, and coordination with business and technology stakeholdersContribute to disaster recovery planning, server patching, and certificate renewal processesProvide input on process improvement, automation opportunities, and standardization of development practicesDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including backend systems, APIs, or enterprise-level applications5+ years of experience in a financial institutionStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in production environmentsStrong communication skills, verbal and writtenSolid understanding of IT operational processes, including monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysisExperience working in complex environments with hybrid cloud and on-premise systemsFamiliarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Service Now, or similar platformsNice-to-Have:Exposure to Wealth Management business applications or financial services systemsExperience with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS)Understanding of regulatory compliance in financial systemsWhat's in it for you?
