Toronto, ON (Onsite)Duration: + MonthsDaily Responsibilities:Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support continuing increases in data volume and complexityBuild and support the data needs for predictive modeling and GenAI applicationsWork with APIs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, including both structured and unstructured data.Collaborate with data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity.Document processes and maintain clear and concise technical documentationMust Have
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field- years of experience in data engineering or related rolesProficiency in data engineering languages and technologies, such as SQL, Python, and ETL frameworks.Experience in working with APIs to pull data from various sources.Familiarity with both structured (, databases) and unstructured data (, JSON, XML).Familiarity with machine learning methods.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Knowledge of data modeling and storage solutions for both structured and unstructured dataHands-on experience with Google Big Query or Azure Data Lake is preferredMindlance is an
