Software Licensing Specialist

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Duration: 6 + Months

• Ensure enterprise-wide software license compliance and optimizing software asset utilization.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of software usage and contractual entitlements.
• Provide Effective License Position (ELP) reports using Flexera and additional data sources as needed.
• Work with internal Product Owners on results of ELPs.
• Review, support and investigate licensing remediation as needed.
• Configure and update Flexera with as needed to support ELPs and software assets.
• Complete licensing requests as assigned.
• Document process and knowledge documents

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working in Software Asset Management, licensing compliance, Flexera and Service Now.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in working with software entitlements, EULAs and contracts.
• Experience in managing license compliance with large software publishers and various licensing models.
• Excellent documentation, analytical and communication skills.
• Process flow and knowledge documentation.
• Practical experience in reporting and analytics of data.

• Experience working in financial banking industry
• Professional certifications CSAM, CITAM
• Experience working with automation and AI in SAM processes for efficient compliance monitoring is a plus.
