On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Consultant, Functional Analyst – Digital Technologies to serve as the functional lead for the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform across enterprise‑scale digital properties. This role acts as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, Information Services, and vendor partners, ensuring the AEM ecosystem is scalable, stable, and strategically aligned with enterprise architecture.

The successful candidate will own functional outcomes for the AEM platform, partnering closely with architects, developers, and managed service providers to drive platform improvements and digital innovation.

• Serve as the functional platform lead for Adobe Experience Manager across cross‑functional initiatives.
• Define and maintain the AEM product and application roadmap in alignment with business priorities and enterprise standards.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on Adobe Experience Cloud capabilities to support strategic decision‑making.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and enhancements to maximize out‑of‑the‑box value and reduce customization.

• Lead ongoing optimization of Digital Asset Management and Content Management (AEM) platforms for stability, security, and performance.
• Own functional oversight of AEM operations, including incident management, demand intake, platform performance, and data quality.
• Identify and prioritize platform enhancements that drive improved efficiency and business value.
• Coordinate upgrades, patches, and maintenance releases with IS and vendor partners, following defined governance processes.
• Maintain application lifecycle documentation and functional knowledge bases.
• Support business users through defined operational processes and cycles.
• Participate in daily scrums, status meetings, and technical discussions to inform platform decisions.

• Lead end‑to‑end business requirements management from intake through delivery.
• Partner with business stakeholders, IS teams, and AMS vendors to define scope, outcomes, and delivery approach.
• Elicit and document requirements for complex initiatives including integrations, migrations, and localization.
• Translate business needs into clear, structured Agile user stories with complete acceptance criteria.
• Review and validate user stories and functional designs to support efficient delivery.

• Develop and maintain functional design artifacts such as workflows, conceptual models, and high‑level architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to ensure scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Lead functional input into testing strategy and support system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture, SDLC, and governance standards.
• Provide functional consulting support across enhancement and sustainment activities.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for platform enhancement and optimization.
• Collaborate closely with IS teams to ensure alignment in solution design, delivery, and operations.
• Engage vendor partners—including Adobe and AMS teams—to support platform delivery.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders to drive clarity and alignment.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared ownership.

• 6–10 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting Adobe Experience Manager for enterprise digital platforms.
• Adobe Experience Manager certification is an asset.
