Position Overview:
The IT Integration Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow and communication between various IT systems and applications. This role involves working closely with different departments, understanding their integration needs, and providing technical expertise to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions. The IT Integration Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that business processes are efficient, data is accurate, and systems work harmoniously.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Integration Design and Development:
o Analyze integration requirements and design appropriate solutions.
o Develop integration workflows and data mappings between systems.
o Use middleware and integration platforms to implement integration solutions.
2. System Connectivity:
o Establish and maintain connections between various IT systems and applications.
o Ensure data is transferred accurately and securely between systems.
o Work with APIs, web services, and other technologies to enable system communication.
3. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
o Provide technical support for integration-related issues.
o Troubleshoot and resolve integration problems promptly.
o Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
4. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
o Monitor the performance of integration solutions.
o Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
o Optimize integration workflows to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
5. Documentation and Training:
o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes and solutions.
o Develop user guides and technical manuals for end-users and support staff.
o Conduct training sessions to educate team members on integration tools and best practices.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other IT professionals to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
o Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on integration projects and issues.
o Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to manage external integrations.
7. Security and Compliance:
o Implement security measures to protect data during integration.
o Ensure integration solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
o Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
MUST HAVE:
Natural gas industry experience required.
