Healthcare Implementation Engineer – Diagnostic Solutions
Duration: 18 Months Contract
Role Overview
We’re hiring 2 Healthcare Implementation Engineers to support diagnostic healthcare software implementations in customer environments. In this role, you’ll lead installations, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and serve as a subject matter expert for healthcare application solutions in critical patient care settings.

Onsite/Hybrid/Remote Requirements
This role is based in Ontario, Canada . Travel may be required on an infrequent basis. Availability for 24x7x365 staffing assignments is required.
Must-Have Skills ✅
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in a Tier II/III technical or application support environment
Experience supporting end users, IT staff, or administrative staff with software and/or hardware issues in Windows environments
Strong troubleshooting experience with the Windows stack (Windows, IIS, SQL, ASP.NET, Active Directory)
Experience installing, configuring, and testing software in production environments
Ability to analyze log files, monitor alerts, and troubleshoot complex system/application issues
Strong documentation and communication skills
Nice-to-Have / Preferred Skills
Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries (SELECT, DELETE, UPDATE)
Ability to analyze network traffic to diagnose performance and stability issues
Experience implementing or supporting RIS (Radiology Information Systems), PACS, or Diagnostic Imaging Workflow Management solutions
Knowledge of HL7 and/or DICOM
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and test healthcare software applications and supporting technologies
Conduct planning, installation, configuration, and validation of application solutions on customer on-premise servers and workstations
Collaborate closely with project managers and project teams to ensure successful implementation
Research, analyze, and resolve complex technical and operational issues in healthcare production environments
Perform detailed log analysis, workflow configuration adjustments, and system monitoring
Provide advanced technical support via phone, email, and chat
Lead customer conference calls to resolve critical account issues
Reproduce and document issues in test/lab environments for remediation and validation
Develop workarounds when necessary to minimize operational disruption
Maintain high-quality documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing and team mentoring
Meet project deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively
Who Shouldn’t Apply
This role may not be the right fit if you:
Have less than 3 years of Tier II/III technical support experience
Do not have hands‑on experience with the Windows stack (IIS, SQL, ASP.NET, AD)
Are uncomfortable working in healthcare or critical patient care environments
Cannot support occasional travel or 24/7 availability requirements
