Desktop support in an overflow capacity, as needed. This will include maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of software and hardware including desktops, laptops, printers and phone systems
Ensuring that IT services are provided at the expected and defined level.
Providing ongoing IT support to all Nautel users
Provisioning new users with appropriate equipment as defined by IT services
Processing & documenting changes required with employee changes
Acting as the IT Lead on business and IT specific projects
Tracking all IT assets
Administering anti-virus systems and responds to malware threats
Administering data backup systems
Administering the wireless LAN service
Assisting in the setup, configuration and administration of Nautel's core network infrastructure
Assisting in the setup, configuration and administration of Nautel's cyber security initiatives

Individuals should have:

Current Windows technologies including computer operating systems, Office software, and other Nautel information systems (For example; SYSPRO)
A recognised IT Diploma with progressive experience in a desktop support environment is a requirement for this role
Additional Information
The ability to obtain, and maintain, Controlled Goods clearance status (and potentially other clearances) immediately is a requirement for this role (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident, and additional background checks).
The ability to work on an on-call rota is a requirement of this role. Due to the nature of the role, candidates will work out of the facility in Hackett's Cove (there may be an option for some type of hybrid arrangement after a training period).
