In this role you will:
Act as a trusted solution partner to business stakeholders, providing expert guidance on IP capabilities, constraints, and solution optionsLead solution discovery and definition for complex initiatives impacting core IP systems, integrations, and vendor platforms (e.g., RPM)Own the end‑to‑end solution design, ensuring alignment across business requirements, architecture standards, regulatory obligations, and operational readinessPartner with Solution Architects and Delivery Leads to validate technical feasibility, sequencing, and implementation approachIdentify and document impacts, risks, trade‑offs, and dependencies across journeys, products, and downstream systemsEnsure solution approaches are clearly articulated to senior technology and business leadership to support informed decision‑makingSupport release planning and delivery by providing solution clarity during estimation, planning, and execution phasesMaintain strong domain knowledge of investment products, journeys, back‑office processing, and regulatory requirements within IPChampion a customer‑focused, risk‑aware culture, ensuring solutions protect the Bank and its clientsContinually acquire and enhance knowledge of the business strategies and policies product offerings, financial markets, regulatory requirements, and rapidly changing technology to be able to provide effective business solutions and services to the end user groupsBusiness partners across Retail Investments, SSI, Operations, and ProductIP Solution Architects, Development Teams, and Delivery LeadsVendor partners and platform SMEsRisk, Compliance, and Regulatory stakeholdersDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? 7+ years of experience in Business Solutions, Business Architecture, or Senior Business Analysis within large, complex technology environmentsStrong domain knowledge of Investment Platforms, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets systemsProven experience solutioning complex initiatives that span multiple systems and business areasDemonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence solution decisionsStrong understanding of end‑to‑end investment journeys, including front‑office, middle‑office, and back‑office flowsExperience working with vendor platforms and understanding customization vs. configuration trade‑offsExcellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skillsProven experience working within a core Investment Platform (IP) supporting retail investment products and client journeysStrong understanding of end‑to‑end investment processing flows, including front‑office, middle‑office, and back‑office operations (e.g., order capture, trade processing, settlements, reconciliation, reporting)Practical knowledge of vendor‑based investment platforms and the implications of configuration vs. customization, including impact analysis, risk assessment, and long‑term platform sustainability.Familiarity with investment products and account types, including regulatory and operational considerations that influence platform behaviorDemonstrated ability to assess cross‑journey and cross‑product impacts when defining solution approachesExperience supporting industry‑driven and regulatory initiatives affecting the Investment Platform, with a strong appreciation for risk, controls, and compliance expectationsStrong understanding of release‑based delivery models and how solution decisions influence estimation, sequencing, and execution within IP programsNice to Have
