Position: Associate Vice-President (AVP), Digital, Cossette Media

About the role.

You will play a crucial role in overseeing the digital ecosystem: paid, owned, earned for our clients including overseeing digital strategy, team management and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. As an Associate Vice President of Digital, you will act as a senior leader within the Digital team, with a focus on increasing our digital product through a broader focus on departmental and organizational strategy and operations.

Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $120,000-$140,000 annually, depending on experience. This is for a new vacancy.

responsibilities

  • Be a great leader, motivate your teams and your clients with your digital expertise, strategic vision and inspirational presence
  • Accountable for the strategic planning and organizational goals of your digital team as well as a contributing member to the wider PCC Digital practice
  • Ensure quality of digital products across key digital channels: direct buys/partners, programmatic, paid and organic search marketing, and social.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with our clients and actively participate in their business development in navigating the digital landscape across paid, owned and earned channels.
  • Accountable for implementing and monitoring critical business strategies such as partner relations, digital products and new business
  • Accountable for digital team management: team structure, R&Rs, training, development and progression planning, goal development and objectives
  • Accountable for team resourcing, including managing commercial structure of client contracts, team composition and performance metrics to maximize impact
  • Responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end digital processes, operations, work-flows, tools to deliver on client/agency goals
  • Develop and implement POVs with clients on complex industry topics, best practices, emerging technologies and digital platforms
  • Serve as a key decision-maker and contributing to company-wide initiatives such as training and development
  • Support emerging channels in collaboration with the innovation group.

qualifications.

  • 10+ years leading a team in a strategic and executional digital media environment, paid search, programmatic and social
  • Proven advanced understanding of SA360 / Google Ads, Bing, including social platforms and their APIs, scripting systems, DSP and SSPs
  • Experience with Google suite, Google Big Query, Google Cloud Platform, GA4
  • Strong understanding of digital privacy landscape, solutions and technology providers
  • Experience working on national large-scale national performance-driven clients
  • Experience Working with Audience Data Strategies for clients
  • Experience working in regulated industries is an asset.
  • Understanding SEO and AEO
  • Strong understanding project management platforms such as Monday, Asana, Airtable
  • Strong understanding of performance digital media workflows and processes
  • Strong presentation skills required
