Network Infra specialist

Position: Senior Network Observability Developer (GenAI‑Enabled)

Duration: 6 months

Location: 250 Front St W – Hybrid (4 days onsite)

Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

We are seeking the services of a Senior Network Observability Developer / Network Infra – Telecom Specialist with deep experience in IT networking, network automation, and modern observability frameworks. This consultant will play a principal role in the design, deployment, and configuration of large-scale, IP‑based broadcast and enterprise networking infrastructure.

The engagement supports the transition from traditional broadcast systems to IP‑based workflows, leveraging virtualized media production applications and modern web‑based interfaces.

• Network Design & Implementation:
  Act as the lead for network design, deployment, and configuration across datacenter, campus, Wi‑Fi, WAN, real‑time networking, and media‑over‑IP environments.
• Infrastructure Automation: Automate and monitor broadcast network infrastructure, including multicast, SMPTE ST 2022‑7, and Arista-based systems.
• Full‑Stack Tooling Development: Build observability and control tooling using Python/Flask, Type Script/React, D3.js, Influx
  
  DB, and Grafana.
• GenAI‑Enabled Development Leadership: Lead and orchestrate development workflows using GenAI tooling (Claude Code, OpenAI Code models, Codex) to accelerate engineering output.
• Complex Network Engineering:
  Configure and optimize routing, switching, VXLAN, authentication systems, Wi‑Fi, WAN, multicast, and network security policies.
• Project Support:
  Collaborate with project leads to ensure successful delivery across all networking components within the engineering program.

• Networking Protocols: PIM, BGP, LLDP, DHCP, VLAN, LACP, Layer 2/3, VXLAN
• Hardware & Platforms:
  Cisco IOS, IOS‑XE, NX‑OS, DNA Center;
  Arista platforms
• Architecture:
  Strong experience with Spine‑and‑Leaf architectures
• Certifications:
  
  CCNA, CCNP (mandatory)
• Experience Level: Senior network engineer with hands‑on expertise in Cisco campus technologies
• Technical Ability:
  Ability to interpret drawings, functionals, and technical documentation
• Automation & Monitoring:
  Experience building automated network tooling and observability systems
• GenAI Fluency:
  Ability to lead engineering using AI‑assisted code generation tools

• ARISTA ecosystem experience:
  Cloud Vision (CVP), Arista CI/CD, Ansible, AMCS
