Senior Infrastructure Security Analyst; Global Security
You will provide consistent levels of organizational and technical expertise necessary for the successful implementation, maintenance and support of the critical network and security infrastructure services across all global RBC Intranet and Extranet environments. You will provide advanced technical expertise for troubleshooting and implementing configuration changes across multiple firewall and VPN platforms. You will regularly work with business partners, escalation teams and vendors to resolve incidents and deliver infrastructure changes across the global RBC Enterprise globally.
Whatwill you do?
- Responsible for the successful delivery of the firewall rule attestation and accreditation process globally.
- Responsible for risk assessment of firewall rules across multiple firewall platforms globally.
- Work closely with Dev Ops and Automation teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, provide technical requirements and validate functionality before production implementation.
- Develop, code, document and execute programs of low to intermediate complexity.
- Provide input into high level and detailed technical specifications for medium to large projects.
- Contribute to successful project completion by identifying risks and developing or recommending mitigation strategies.
Must Have
- Certification in at least one of the firewall platforms and intermediate working experience with the following network and security appliances/vendors:
Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet). - 3+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst. Advanced understanding and working knowledge of firewalls, intrusion & malware prevention technologies, internet proxy, gateways and network security technology and how they integrate to deliver services.
- Strong understanding of security exposures and mitigating designs, including intermediate experience with the use of the Firewall Management platform Algosec.
- Good understanding of security concepts such as NAT/PAT, IPSEC, SSL, DDoS, IP Spoofing etc.
- Working knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP and Azure).
- CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CCSP are considered assets.
- University or College Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
