Accessibility tester

Position Description

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St, Toronto) and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week – subject to change at any time.

• Conduct accessibility testing on websites, mobile applications, and digital banking platforms.
• Validate usability for individuals with disabilities using assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, Voice Over, Talk Back, and screen magnifiers.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and business analysts to identify accessibility gaps and recommend remediation strategies.
• Create detailed defect reports, track issues, and validate fixes to ensure alignment with accessibility standards.
• Participate in accessibility audits, reviews, and user testing sessions with diverse user groups.
• Stay up to date with evolving accessibility laws, tools, and best practices to support continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to teams on accessibility best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Proven experience in accessibility testing for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1, AODA, and ADA compliance standards.
• Hands‑on experience with assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development environments and collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Wealth Management or Banking domain experience is a strong advantage.
