Clinical Database Designer

Everest is searching for a Clinical Database Designer to be based in our Toronto/Markham location or work remotely across Canada. This role is perfect for skilled individuals experienced in EDC systems and clinical databases.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing clinical databases in EDC systems, including modification post-go-live and conducting unit tests. You will work closely with the Data Manager to address database design issues and ensure all project specifications meet industry standards.

Your role will also involve contributing to database integration tasks and maintaining project timelines effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop clinical databases from detailed requirement specifications

• Modify databases based on updated requirements post-launch

• Conduct unit testing and assist in user acceptance testing

• Ensure adherence to project management practices

• Collaborate on integration specifications with other systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Biological Sciences or Computer Science

• One year of experience in clinical database design

• Knowledge in EDC tools such as Clinical One and In Form

• Experience with programming languages in clinical research

• Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration
