Drive technical excellence as an Application Support Consultant with CIBC’s Capital Markets Technology group in Toronto. Leverage your problem-solving skills and application support expertise to enhance our fixed income trading applications.
In this role, you will join the Fixed Income Production Support team r experience supporting front office trading applications and troubleshooting capabilities will allow you to identify and resolve production issues effectively. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to ensure seamless service delivery while building strong relationships across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and solve medium to high complexity production issues
• Collaborate with analysts and developers on bug fixes
• Build relationships with business lines and external vendors
• Monitor services for improvements and recommend solutions
• Be available for after-hours support and validation tasks
Requirements:
• 1 - 3 years supporting Front Office Trading Applications
• Knowledge of Unix and SQL for troubleshooting
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Familiarity with trading systems like Bloomberg TOMS
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools
