This six-month contract role at Gowling WLG entails providing comprehensive on-site support for the firm’s systems and applications. As the Deskside Technician, you will ensure timely resolutions to technical issues, helping maintain the firm’s operational integrity. Your problem-solving abilities will be crucial in effectively managing requests and participating in IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site assistance for proprietary applications
• Accurately log issues in the ticketing system
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Support loaner equipment management and installation
• Collaborate on IT project implementations
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role
• Educational background in Computer Science
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and office applications
