The opportunity
The Web Publishing, Content Governance & Analytics Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end operational integrity, governance, and performance of content across OTPP-owned digital channels.
This role ensures that content is accurate, current, compliant, measurable, and scalable, supporting both human and AI-driven discovery.
Who you'll work with
The Web Publishing, Content Governance & Analytics Specialist will report to the Manager, Website Channel Management. This role partners closely with Content Strategy & Corporate Communications, Marketing Technology & IT, Legal, Compliance, and Risk, as well as business content owners across Marketing & Communications.
What you'll do
1. Web Publishing Operations (Enterprise Scope)
Own and execute error-free publishing across all OTPP-owned digital channels, including:
External website ()
Corporate intranet
OTPP-owned social platforms and distribution channels
Responsibilities include:
End-to-end content publishing using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related Adobe platforms
Ensuring all published content adheres to established editorial, brand, accessibility, legal, and compliance standards
Managing publishing workflows, approvals, versioning, and release timing
Performing rigorous quality assurance checks (content accuracy, metadata, tagging, links, accessibility, formatting)
Coordinating publishing approvals across teams (Content, Communications, Legal, IT, Marketing Technology)
Maintaining publishing documentation, playbooks, and standards
Acting as a subject-matter expert on publishing best practices, platform capabilities, and operational efficiencies
2. Content Governance & Lifecycle Management
Serve as the content governance owner for a defined content portfolio, such as Investments, P&C and Financial Reporting.
Responsibilities include:
Establishing and maintaining content lifecycle governance (creation, review, refresh, archive, retire)
Conducting regular content audits to identify:
Outdated or inaccurate content
Underperforming or duplicative pages
Content misaligned to audience needs or strategic priorities
Partnering with content owners to:
Enforce review cadences
Improve content quality and relevance
Bringing forward evidence-based recommendations to improve clarity, relevance, and effectiveness
Ensuring content remains current and compliant including but not limited to regulatory, legal, and financial disclosures
Maintaining governance documentation and decision logs
3. Content Analytics, Insights & AI Readiness
Own content performance measurement and insight generation to inform continuous improvement and AI findability.
Responsibilities include:
Leveraging analytics tools to assess content performance, engagement, and discoverability
Developing and maintaining regular reporting cadences (dashboards, insights, executive summaries)
Translating data into actionable content recommendations
Monitoring how OTPP content is surfaced, interpreted, and referenced across AI-driven tools and platforms
Partnering with Marketing Technology and Analytics teams to:
Ensure accurate data capture
Improve tagging and measurement frameworks
Identifying opportunities to improve:
Content structure
Findability
Machine readability
Long-term scalability for AI consumption
Acting as a trusted advisor on content performance trends and risks
Analytics capabilities included:
Content effectiveness measurement
Structured data and AI discoverability awareness
Complexity & Judgment
This role operates with a high degree of independence, requiring sound judgment in:
Publishing risk management
Content governance decisions
Performance interpretation and prioritization
The incumbent must balance speed, accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight while operating in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environment.
What you’ll need
3-5 years of experience in enterprise web publishing, content operations, or digital content governance
Deep expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and enterprise CMS platforms
Strong understanding of:
Content governance models
Editorial workflows
Metadata, taxonomy, and structured content
Hands-on experience with digital analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, GA, dashboards)
Proven ability to translate data into clear recommendations
Exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance discipline
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with AI-driven search, discovery, and content consumption trends
Experience supporting both external and internal digital channels
Experience in Pension or institutional investment environments
Due to the real-time nature of deals, announcements and other digital activity, the incumbent may be required to work outside regular business hours and perform overtime
