Join the Desktop Support Team as a Junior Desktop Support specialist, located in Toronto. In this contract role, you will address PC, laptop, and Black Berry issues while delivering outstanding customer service.
Our client is looking for someone with 1-2 years of hands-on Desktop Support experience in a large enterprise setting. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing hardware/software problems, providing timely support, and ensuring users have a seamless experience. You will exhibit excellent communication skills in a patient, polite, and professional manner while assisting users across various devices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop and mobile device issues
• Repair/upgrade PCs, laptops, and printers as needed
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with users
• Manage support requests effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Support Blackberry devices and basic network troubleshooting
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of Desktop Support experience is essential
• IT-related University or College degree required
• A+ or MCSE certification is an advantage
• Strong English language communication skills
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, VPN, and WiFi protocols
