Join the Aviva team as a Data Business Analyst focused on the Insurance sector in Markham, ON. This contract role involves analytics utilizing Informatica and Snowflake for impactful insights.
You will be responsible for analyzing claims and underwriting data, identifying fraud patterns and risk factors in customer behavior. Collaboration with actuarial and compliance teams is essential for drafting reports and ensuring regulatory adherence. A robust understanding of ETL processes and data governance is crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct data analysis on claims and policy information
• Develop customer risk profiles and insights
• Prepare regulatory compliance reports and data extracts
• Clean and transform diverse data sources for analysis
• Create dashboards for finance and product teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years in Data Systems Analysis
• 8 years as a Business Analyst on substantial projects
• Proficiency in Snowflake and Informatica tools
• Experience in ETL and data quality governance
