Program Manager AI Transformation (Financial Crimes, Cybersecurity & Enterprise Risk) Toronto Hybrid Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead strategic Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI initiatives across Financial Crimes, Cybersecurity, Data Protection, and Enterprise Risk functions.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of AI-enabled programs supporting Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud Detection, Vulnerability Response, Threat Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Insider Risk, Security Operations, and Regulatory Compliance. This role will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, data scientists, cybersecurity teams, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities AI Program Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and advanced analytics initiatives across multiple risk domains.
  • Develop and manage program roadmaps, budgets, resource plans, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Establish governance frameworks for AI implementation and adoption.
  • Drive prioritization and execution of strategic AI investments.
Cybersecurity & Threat Protection
  • Manage AI initiatives supporting:
    • Threat Detection and Response
    • Security Operations Center (SOC) modernization
    • Security Analytics
    • Vulnerability Management and Response
    • Threat Intelligence
    • Insider Threat Monitoring
    • Attack Surface Management
  • Coordinate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Security Engineering teams.
Data Protection & Privacy
  • Lead programs focused on:
    • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
    • Sensitive Data Discovery and Classification
    • Information Protection
    • Data Governance
    • Privacy Risk Monitoring
    • AI Governance and Responsible AI Controls
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise data protection standards and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder & Executive Management
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders across Compliance, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Technology, Data & Analytics, and Operations.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting and steering committee materials.
  • Communicate program progress, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
AI Governance & Risk Management
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with model risk management frameworks and regulatory expectations.
  • Coordinate model validation, explainability, monitoring, and audit readiness activities.
  • Establish KPIs, success metrics, and performance monitoring processes.
Change Management & Adoption
  • Lead organizational change management activities.
  • Develop communication, training, and adoption plans.
  • Drive business readiness and benefits realization.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise technology, data, AI, cybersecurity, or risk transformation programs.
  • Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with executive-level visibility.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Fin Tech, or highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of:
    • AML and Financial Crimes Compliance
    • Cybersecurity Operations
    • Vulnerability Management
    • Threat Protection
    • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
    • Data Governance and Privacy
    • Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent certifications.
  • MBA or Master's degree in Technology, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or Business Administration.
