Intermediate Scrum Master

We are seeking an Intermediate Scrum Master for a 6‑month contract with high possibility of extension. The role is hybrid, requiring four days a week on site.

• Promote and drive adoption of Agile methodologies and Agile mindset principles, including iterative delivery, collaboration, and business value realization
• Serve as Scrum Master for two Agile squads supporting digital banking initiatives across mobile and web platforms
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, demos, and status updates
• Remove impediments and proactively manage dependencies to ensure successful delivery outcomes
• Partner with Product Owners, developers, QA, UX, and business stakeholders to align priorities and execution
• Foster team accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance
• Facilitate discussions, conflict resolution, and collective decision‑making within cross‑functional teams
• Work within a Scaled Agile (Protected) environment and collaborate with other Scrum Masters and squads to deliver enterprise digital capabilities
• Communicate project progress, risks, outcomes, and financials to leadership and stakeholders
• Support concurrent Agile initiatives within a fast‑paced enterprise environment
• Participate in technical, business analysis, and user experience discussions across multiple platforms and teams

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile delivery environments
• Strong background in software development, systems analysis, or technical delivery
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification
• Proven experience leading Agile teams delivering medium‑to‑large scale technology initiatives
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence teams and leadership to drive alignment and outcomes
• Experience applying Agile techniques including:
  • User Stories
  • Burndown tracking
  • Acceptance Test‑Driven Development (ATDD)
  • Continuous Testing
  • SAFe / Scaled Agile practices
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
• Banking or financial services experience required; consumer banking experience strongly preferred

• Experience delivering complex web applications using:
  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • Angular
• Knowledge of Agile Management Frameworks and enterprise governance processes
• Familiarity with Project Approval Request (PAR) processes
• Experience with test automation tools and automated testing strategies
• Exposure to digital client acquisition or online banking platforms

• Strong servant leader with the ability to motivate and guide Agile teams
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex delivery challenges
• Collaborative mindset with strong cross‑functional partnership skills
• Ability to balance delivery execution with continuous process improvement
• Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments preferred
