Position: Database Engineer with AWS Expertise
Join us as a Senior Database Engineer, focusing on high availability and disaster recovery in AWS environments. Leverage your proficiency in Postgres to enhance database solutions for small businesses.

As a key member reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, you'll drive infrastructure solutions that support millions of entrepreneurs.

Your role includes optimizing Aurora Postgres databases, ensuring they remain responsive and scalable while solving complex database issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the stability of Aurora Postgres databases

• Tackle query optimization and indexing challenges

• Set up monitoring and alert mechanisms for performance

• Work with development teams on schema and query changes

• Perform cost optimization analysis within AWS

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years managing databases like MySQL or Oracle

• Deep understanding of RDS Performance Insights

• Familiarity with database caching technologies

• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

• Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Ruby
