Project Manager / Scrum Master

• Location: Toronto, ON — Hybrid (3-4 days onsite)
• Pay Rate: $65.25/hr - $77.05/hr
• Contract Length: 8 months with possibility for extension

• Dual role as Project Manager and Scrum Master.
• Scrum Master responsibilities: daily standups, bi-weekly demos, retrospectives, and planning.
• Project Manager responsibilities: scheduling, budgeting, and weekly reporting.
• Manage overall project deliverables for data ingestion/consumption work streams on medium to large initiatives, including integration of vendor products and in-house applications.
• Lead initiatives supporting new technologies and channels, new product implementations, new client and advisor systems, implementation of regulatory change, growth and business efficiency.
• Develop and manage the detailed schedule, identify early warning indicators, provide direction for early resolution of risks and issues, and establish a clear escalation path for program committees.
• Oversee financials and staffing levels to efficiently meet project delivery requirements and track value for decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners (vendors, IT teams, product).
• Build and present for Senior Director & VP‑level presentations.
• Oversee development of program/project plans, KPIs, metrics (including status reporting), prioritization calls, and project communications.
• Ensure completion of risk assessments and execution of contingency plans.
• Deliver initiatives using appropriate methods including Agile and iterative waterfall, with Agile day‑to‑day scrums and other ceremonies.
• Satisfy multiple stakeholders in a complex and demanding business and technology environment and deliver business results on high‑profile, critical assignments.

• 5+ years of project management experience, spanning small projects and large programs ($20MM+) with high value and high complexity/uncertainty, and a track record of successful delivery.
• 3–5 years of managing large data ingestion/consumption projects.
• Proactive approach to project management, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and passion for innovation.
• Experience planning and managing financials across multiple streams in data ingestion/consumption projects with an understanding of brokerage concepts and technologies.
• Proven ability to manage highly visible programs/projects with third‑party vendors and significant technology components, strong executive presence, and advanced communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of change, issue, and risk management and working knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies with day‑to‑day ceremonies; experience fostering team improvements through standard Agile processes.
• Project and program management certifications (e.g., PMP and/or PgMP).

• Data & AI experience.
• Undergraduate degree (preferred) in Business, Technology or Financial Services.
• Data migration design, development, or architecture experience.
• Previous experience working in wealth management.
