Role Overview

We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader to build and scale Boat Rocker’s business across You Tube and other digital AVOD platforms. This role has two core mandates:

  • Maximize the value of Boat Rocker’s existing IP library.
  • Develop a platform-native content business.
  • You will drive audience growth and revenue across You Tube and similar platforms by optimizing the distribution, marketing, and monetization of our extensive catalogue of television and digital content. This includes supporting current television series on You Tube (e.g. with cut‑down and original derivative content).

    You will identify, develop, launch, market and monetize original and third‑party content specifically designed for You Tube and other creator‑driven AVOD platforms.

    This role will lead all You Tube and related platform initiatives, including: revenue and partnership strategy, channel and platform optimization, performance analytics and audience growth, marketing and promotion, creative evaluation and third‑party content sourcing and acquisitions.

    Sitting at the intersection of digital strategy, content development, and revenue generation, this leader will be responsible for building Boat Rocker’s You Tube and AVOD presence into a significant and growing business. Success in this role means unlocking the full value of Boat Rocker’s ever‑expanding library while building a scalable pipeline of platform‑native owned content that drives meaningful audience and revenue growth.

    Key Responsibilities
    Sales & Revenue Partnerships
    • Lead revenue‑share distribution strategy for the company’s content catalogue on You Tube.
    • Procure new content partners and manage ongoing relationships to ensure consistent and optimized revenue generation.
    • Monitor, analyze, and reconcile royalty statements, using performance data to inform platform strategy, content packaging, and deal optimization.
    • Strategize and curate content packages tailored to individual You Tube channels, ensuring rights availability and commercial viability.
    • Review and negotiate legal terms in collaboration with internal rights administration and legal teams and liaise with Media Operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of content.
    • Own annual You Tube revenue targets and growth forecasts.
    • Accountable for profitability across owned and partner‑operated channels.
    • Monitor RPM, CPM, watch time, subscriber growth, and yield performance.
    You Tube Strategy & Channel Management
    • Oversee the exploitation of the company’s content catalogue on You Tube, including the creation, launch, and ongoing management of branded channels.
    • Develop channel‑specific content strategies focused on audience growth, monetization, and long‑term brand building across kids & family, unscripted and scripted programming.
