Fitch is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join the Global Corporates, Infrastructure and Project Finance (CIPF) group as a member of the CIPF Enhanced Analytics team.

• Develop, support and maintain Excel applications used in the rating and research process.
• Integrate and mine large data sets, connecting data from disparate sources (primarily Oracle, Mongo databases) to identify critical insights and pragmatic data solutions.
• Collaborate with functional experts and organizational leaders in the implementation of new products and process improvements.
• Produce data-driven reports and presentations for internal and external use.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/quantitative field.
• Previous experience as a data engineer or data analyst.
• Python, VBA and SQL programming knowledge required.
• Experience and expertise working with relational/non-relational databases and understanding of storage technologies (MySQL, Oracle, Mongo
  
  DB).

• Business Intelligence experience required, including hands‑on development and analysis in Qlik Cloud.
• Experience with Agile development concepts and related tools a plus.

• Have a keen interest in finance and business. Knowledge/experience in finance/accounting, economics or capital markets a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.

FOR TORONTO ROLES ONLY:
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $115,000 and $135,000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job‑related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long‑term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
