Kubernetes Engineer

About the Opportunity

• Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Develop and manage platform services including compute, database, storage, and integration components.
• Apply expertise in software-defined networking and service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Envoy).
• Build and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules using tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Dev Ops tools including Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub.
• Implement hardened automation techniques such as vaulting secrets, RBAC, and encrypted communications.
• Design and deploy scalable, fault-tolerant systems primarily on Azure cloud platforms.
• Apply Git Ops concepts with tools such as Flux and ArgoCD.
• Contribute programming expertise in .NET, Node.js, or Java to support infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment with cloud architecture standards.
• Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure components.
• Ensure compliance, governance, and security across cloud-native and platform services.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with a focus on cloud-native and platform services.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration tools.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Pulumi, and other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Power Shell, Go, or Python.
• Experience with Azure platform services or equivalent cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of Dev Ops practices and tools including Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub.
• Programming experience in .NET, Node.js, or Java for automation and integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
