Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Triangle Analytics team in Toronto, ON. This high-visibility role is accountable for providing critical CTC Triangle offer performance insights and enabling business teams to make effective operational decisions on weekly digital marketing campaigns, including Loyalty Customer 1-1 Offers and Offer Swaps. The team also manages performance measurement of key strategic initiatives through Triangle and Partnership Scorecards.
WhatYou'll Do
- Build and manage key data pipeline processes that fuel various Loyalty Customer reports and tools using an "automate first" mindset
- Work with data engineers, data scientists, and product managers to analyze and interpret data, and develop metrics to measure results
- Solve non-routine analysis problems while applying advanced analytical methods as needed
- Provide key commentary on customer interactions across various media channels through effective presentation of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of CTC's Loyalty Customer data structures and metrics while advocating for change where needed
- Design intuitive dashboards to translate complex customer data into actionable insights across the organization
- Integrate new methodologies into existing processes
- B.S. degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science (equivalent experience considered)
- 3+ years of professional work experience in the data analysis domain
- Advanced knowledge of SQL for complex data analysis
- Intermediate knowledge of a programming language such as Python, R, or SAS
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with data intelligence and visualization platforms such as Looker, Google Data Studio, or Tableau
- Balance of technical and business acumen for modeling business cases and strategic recommendations
- M.S. degree in a related field (asset)
- Experience with statistical data analysis such as linear models, hypothesis testing, and sampling methods (asset)
- Demonstrated leadership and self-direction (asset)
- Salary range: $64,000 – $106,000 CAD annually

B.S. degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience); 3+ years of professional data analysis experience; advanced SQL skills; intermediate programming skills in Python, R, or SAS; intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency; experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Google Data Studio, or Tableau.
