Business group: GTEP – Service Management Technology

Project:
Service Now Transformation project – The main function of a Developer (Other Specialty) is to design, develop, and implement applications using in-demand languages and technologies for the Service Now Platform. This position is required as part of the Service Now Transformation project to deploy digital products release enterprise wide.

Typical Day in Role

Experience in Design, develop, and implement Service Now solutions for DPR Processes.
Customize and configure Service Now DPR module to meet business requirements.
Set up and manage integrations between Service Now DPR and other internal/external systems using various methods (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server).
Lead the development, configuration, and customization of Service Now DPR module.
Design and build DPR templates, workflows, etc.
Implement best practices for testing and quality assurance to ensure that all solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
Stay updated on Service Now releases and DPR trends, advocating for continuous improvement and innovation within the platform.
Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the implementation and operation of the DPR solutions.
Develop and manage script objects like Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Flows/Workflows.

Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills

10 years of overall working experience with 7+ years of experience as a developer/solution designer.

3+ years of development experience with Service Now platform with proficiency in Service Now configuration, scripting, and workflow development (hands‑on experience developing Service Now).

3+ years of experience Digital Product Release modules.

Previous experience and knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

Experience working with / Knowledge of Drive Value with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) 3.0 – CMDB and Service Graph.
Working knowledge of CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
Financial industry experience.
Experience working on integrations.
SME within core module of Service Now.
Service Now Certified System Administrator, Service Now Certified Application Developer, or similar certifications.

Education

A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science.
