The chosen candidate will administer NWMO’s Site Characterization Data Management System (SCDMS) and work closely with IT and external teams. You’ll be responsible for quality assuring geoscientific data and providing essential user support. The role calls for extensive experience, particularly with software system improvements and data compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and provide support to SCDMS users
• Review site characterization data for quality assurance
• Collaborate with IT for system integrity and functionality
• Act as a DAP technology expert for user inquiries
• Direct development work and testing for system enhancements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in science, geology, or GIS
• Six-plus years of experience in data management
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proven ability to work in a procedural IT environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
