Position: Scotiabank Cloud Infrastructure Architect
Become a key player as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect with Scotiabank in Toronto, Ontario. Lead architectural strategies for database platforms and middleware technologies in cloud environments.

This role offers an opportunity to work within the Global Technology Enterprise Platform (GTEP) Architecture team, defining and implementing infrastructure standards to support business evolution. Your contributions will include leading architecture discussions and ensuring compliance with critical risk frameworks that guide operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct architecture discussions with application and security architects

• Propose solutions in Architecture Review Boards for infrastructure improvements

• Develop and update technology standards and architectural documentation

• Identify and analyze architectural gaps proposing new technologies

• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for scalable infrastructure solutions
Requirements:

• 5+ years in an infrastructure architecture-focused role

• Proven ability to create secure and resilient infrastructure solutions

• Strong insights into enterprise database architecture practices

• Experience with middleware integration and cloud deployment

• Familiarity with compliance and operational risk management
