Position: Insight Global Database Administrator Role
Become a Senior Database Administrator with Insight Global, supporting a major Canadian Banking Client’s efforts in AML and fraud prevention.

Your role centers on DB2 and MySQL administration.
This position requires managing and enhancing enterprise-scale databases, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will engage in performance tuning and optimizations, and play a key role in database modernization initiatives. Your technical expertise will support critical financial crime programs and ensure reliability in data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage DB2 and MySQL databases for financial applications

• Support the design and development of database solutions

• Engage in performance monitoring and troubleshooting

• Assist in database backup and recovery processes

• Contribute to compliance and governance efforts
Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years as a Database Administrator

• Strong understanding of DB2 as a core asset

• Experience with other relational databases like MySQL

• Proven ability to manage enterprise databases

• Familiar with compliance-focused environments
