AWS Cloud Ops Administrator

Overview

On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is recruiting for an AWS Cloud Ops Administrator for a 6-month contract (potential extension). The role supports the infrastructure by managing AWS cloud solutions and services, optimizing cloud operations, ensuring system reliability, and implementing automation practices.

• Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, IAM, and more.
• Implement networking solutions such as VPC, route tables, and security groups.
• Monitor and optimize system performance using Amazon Cloud Watch and AWS Cloud Trail.
• Collaborate with development teams to support agile release engineering using Git Hub and Git Hub Actions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Cloud and AWS Cloud Formation.
• Ensure compliance and security using AWS Security Hub and other security practices.

• 5+ years experience with AWS Cloud solutions and multiple AWS services.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform Cloud, Ansible, Power Shell, Python, Bash.
• Experience with Agile software development and release engineering practices.
• Strong knowledge of Dev Ops practices.
• Customer-focused with strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in networking concepts and AWS networking services.
• Familiarity with Git Hub and Git Hub Actions.

• Experience in AWS Security Hub.
• Knowledge of additional AWS services and features.
• Certification in AWS or related cloud technologies.
• Robust communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in a hybrid work environment.

Location:

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid role with 2 days in the office.

Start date:

ASAP. Contract length: 6-month (possible extension).
