Azure APIM & Self-Hosted Gateway Administrator - HYBRID

NTT DATA is seeking an Azure API Management (APIM) and Self-Hosted Gateway (SHG) Administrator (Hybrid) to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This role is critical for managing mission‑critical integrations, ensuring secure and reliable communication between cloud and on‑premise systems.

• Collaborate with architects and developers to define API interfaces in APIM and perform initial smoke tests using Postman or SoapUI.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, including IP allow‑listing, certificate trust chains, and firewall rules, using Kusto Query Language (KQL) and Azure Log Analytics.
• Manage environment deployments (DEV → QA → PROD) using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure Pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Create and manage Service Now Change Requests for CAB/TAB review before production migrations.
• Implement Azure Private Links, monitor logs, and set up alerts to ensure the reliability of the Self‑Hosted Gateway.
• Document operational procedures, maintain a certificate inventory in Azure Key Vault, and author knowledge‑base articles for knowledge transfer.

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Azure API Management (APIM), Self‑Hosted Gateway and related Azure services (Application Gateway, WAF, Private Link).
• 3+ years of strong troubleshooting skills using Kusto Query Language (KQL), Azure Log Analytics, and familiarity with Postman/SoapUI for API testing.
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates) and CI/CD using Azure Pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• 3+ years with IT change‑management processes and Service Now.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.

• Experience with Azure Private Link and Application Gateway configurations.
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor for setting up alerts and monitoring SHG environments.
• Background in documenting operational procedures and creating knowledge‑base articles.
• Familiarity with related Azure services such as Key Vault and WAF policies.

The starting pay range for this remote role is $75,168.00 – $. Actual compensation will depend on the candidate’s work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
