UX​/UI Designer to enhance onboarding platforms Commercial Banking using Figma and user-cent

Our financial services client is seeking a UX/UI Designer (1-3 years) to enhance onboarding platforms for Commercial Banking using Figma and user-centered design.

Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension)

Location:

Downtown Toronto - Hybrid - Mondays & Tuesdays are mandatory - 3 days remote

Join a design-driven team supporting digital modernization initiatives within commercial banking. This role contributes to improving the user experience across multiple web-based applications by creating intuitive and scalable interfaces. The UX/UI Designer will collaborate with diverse partners and gain exposure to recent technologies while shaping the evolution of legacy systems.

• 1-3 years in UX/UI design for enterprise web-based applications
• Proficiency in Figma including component libraries, responsive design, and prototyping
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards
• Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and consistency
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional Agile teams
• A portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects and problem-solving approaches that you can share with us

• Experience in financial services or enterprise environments

• Create wireframes, mock-ups, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma
• Design new features and user experiences for web-based applications
• Work within established design systems to maintain consistency and scalability
• Collaborate with business analysts, users, and developers throughout design and implementation
• Prepare design documentation, specifications, and developer handoff assets
• Advocate for usability, accessibility, and user-centered design
• Support business analysis tasks during downtime
