Our financial services client is seeking a UX/UI Designer (1-3 years) to enhance onboarding platforms for Commercial Banking using Figma and user-centered design.
Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension)

Location:

Downtown Toronto - Hybrid - Mondays & Tuesdays are mandatory - 3 days remote
Join a design-driven team supporting digital modernization initiatives within commercial banking. This role contributes to improving the user experience across multiple web-based applications by creating intuitive and scalable interfaces. The UX/UI Designer will collaborate with diverse partners and gain exposure to recent technologies while shaping the evolution of legacy systems.
Must Haves   1-3 years in UX/UI design for enterprise web-based applications
Proficiency in Figma including component libraries, responsive design, and prototyping
Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards
Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and consistency
Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional Agile teams
A portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects and problem-solving approaches that you can share with us
Nice to Have   Experience in financial services or enterprise environments
Responsibilities   Create wireframes, mock-ups, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma
Design new features and user experiences for web-based applications
Work within established design systems to maintain consistency and scalability
Collaborate with business analysts, users, and developers throughout design and implementation
Prepare design documentation, specifications, and developer handoff assets
Advocate for usability, accessibility, and user-centered design
Support business analysis tasks during downtime
