Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Alternate Solutions Group, build new products for Capital Markets, and white label solutions for other enterprises
Client onboarding onto their platforms
Inboard money movement into Canada
Similar to a software provider, v fast-paced, it’s chaotic… requirements changing, rapid releases… their eventual goal: 1-month sprints
Need a Sr PM who can lead a portfolio (2 release teams, 2 project teams)
Work well with developers, track them, QAs, BAs
Quick on your feet, communication, provide structure
Ability to provide some normalcy and process and streamline some of the chaos, create proper planning and schedules and realistic timelines to deliver against…
Qualifications:
Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with competing priorities
Stakeholders can be difficult sometimes, candidate must manage their expectations
Ability to understand product and business priorities and translate them to the technical delivery team
Ability to represent Business in Technology discussions and represent Technology in discussions with Business
Act as the business partner in delivering digital products
Strong understanding of agile delivery
Experience in transforming a team from waterfall/quasi-agile to agile delivery
Strong financial management – track project finances month to month, reconcile actuals each month and re-baseline forecasts after actuals come in
Strong delivery expertise – understand SDLC and ability to build a realistic project timeline and deliver accurately against it
This requires close tracking by the team and understanding that project scope and tasks are MORE than requirements, dev, QA, prod deployment
