Our client is hiring a Junior AS400 RPG Programmer to assist with core business applications running on the IBM i platform. You will help with troubleshooting system issues, maintaining program logic, and generating operational reports, all while receiving direct mentorship from seasoned professionals. This role is ideal for building foundational skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot daily system operations related to inventory
• Maintain RPG III, RPG IV, and RPGLE programs
• Monitor batch processing and restart jobs as needed
• Support data validation and assist with reporting
• Assist in documenting processes for team knowledge
Requirements:
• 2-4 years of experience with AS400 / IBM i
• Experience with RPG programming
• Basic understanding of SQL and DB2
• Familiarity with ERP or distribution systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
